In a brutal motorcycle accident, a young man is seriously injured after taking a sharp turn, and shockingly, a tree trunk pierces his chest.
A 20-year-old young man was involved in a serious motorcycle accident last Sunday in Praia Norte, in the northern part of Tocantins. The situation occurred when he lost control in a curve, fell off the vehicle, and was pierced by a tree trunk that was on the road.
Before the motorcycle accident, the victim, Igor Silva de Oliveira, and his family were at the house of an aunt in the village of Folha Seca, during a family gathering. Around 5:00 PM, the young man decided to go to the village of Brasilino.
However, as there was a sharp turn in the road, and the family believes he might have been traveling at high speed, he lost control of the motorcycle, and a tree trunk hit his body, piercing his chest, while the motorcycle was thrown far away from the young man.
People who witnessed the accident notified Igor’s relatives, and reportedly, one of the young man’s family members used a chainsaw to cut the wood and take him to the city hospital. He underwent two surgeries and is currently recovering at the Regional Hospital of Augustinópolis (HRAUG).
